The rules that keep Nexus useful and safe

RLC SCO Nexus is operated by its owner-administrator, an individual, as an independent logistics training and development platform. It is not part of, endorsed by, or operated by the Ministry of Defence, the British Army or the Royal Logistic Corps, and it is not an officially accredited system.

Nexus is a learning platform: guides, tutorials, simulations and marked assessments. It is not authoritative policy, a standard operating procedure, or a set of orders. When you're carrying out a real task, the current authoritative instruction for that task, not anything on Nexus, controls what you do.

• Access is by request, and an administrator reviews and approves each request before an account is created.
• One account belongs to one person. Don't share your sign-in details or let someone else use your account.
• Keep your credentials safe, and tell us straight away if you think they've been compromised.
• We may suspend or disable an account, including immediately, where we reasonably believe this is necessary: for example, for a breach of these terms or a security concern.

Don't use Nexus to:

• share your account, or access an account that isn't yours;
• try to bypass, probe or defeat access control, or access data you're not authorised to see (see Security);
• upload or submit classified, protectively marked, unapproved OFFICIAL-SENSITIVE, or otherwise operationally sensitive material, credentials for other systems, or unnecessary personal information about anyone;
• impersonate another person, or misrepresent your rank, role or unit;
• interfere with, overload, or attempt to disrupt the service for other users; or
• use content taken from Nexus as if it were current authoritative policy or orders.

A Nexus certificate is evidence that you passed a specific Nexus assessment on the date shown, marked by the server against the question bank. It is not a military qualification, and it is not an officially accredited certification. Certificates can be checked at the public verification page, and can be revoked: for example, if it's found to have been issued in error.

Nexus's MJDI and VITAL simulations are training representations built for learning, using entirely fictional data. They are not connected to, and are not the live MJDI or VITAL systems. Nothing you do in a Nexus simulation affects a real record anywhere.

Material written for Nexus is © the platform's operator. Learning content draws on official publications for accuracy; where it does, that Crown-copyright source is acknowledged rather than reproduced, and Nexus doesn't claim any licence over the source material itself. RLC insignia appearing on the platform are used for identification and context. Their use doesn't imply endorsement by, or affiliation with, the Royal Logistic Corps (see "Independence" above). If you upload something to Nexus (for example, as part of an assessment answer), it remains yours, and you give us a licence to store and use it for the purpose of operating the platform for you.

We may change, maintain or withdraw any part of Nexus's content or features at any time. Where material is found to be restricted or sensitive, it may be suspended from access immediately, without notice.

Beyond that, Nexus is provided for learning and practice. It is not a substitute for the current authoritative instruction, and we don't accept liability for loss arising from treating it as one.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

We date these terms whenever they change, and announce material changes in-app rather than silently. This version is dated 13 September 2026.
